The only musical I ever liked was Everyone Says I Love You. Woody Allen.

Blues Brothers and the South Park movie are acceptable musicals.

Have you ever seen The Thin Blue Line? That one is even more infuriating. I actually know a couple of guys who were in the Dallas DA's office when all of that was going down.

I have, that was some hairy **** too.

What makes that one so much worse is that they had the right guy but they were ready to send the wrong guy to the chair anyway, just because they wanted to execute someone and they wouldn't be able to execute the 16 year old.

The Meaning of Life. Probably shouldn't have watched this one with my daughter. Kind of forgot how racy it is. Oh well. Great movie.

Yes, The Goon is the hockey movie with Stiffler. Watch it, you won't be disappointed.

I like musicals, but i prefer them to have some serious content amidst the silliness of the actors "periodically breaking into song and dancing about". South Pacific, West Side Story, and Cabaret are probably my favorites. The only Andrew Lloyd Weber musical that I can stand is Evita, and I've deliberately stayed away from the film version so that it is not ruined for me.

Watching Looper. This went from meh, to interesting, to possibly GATTACA level. 30 minutes left. Please don't ruin this.

It's no GATTACA. Better than TimeCop, for sure.

Damn strait. First time I saw Gattica, I liked it so much that I watched it the next night before needing to return the rental.

Black Swan, I really liked this film, and while not excellent like The Wrestler, it is very good.

I also watched Moonrise Kingdom. I had gotten a little tired of Wes Anderson after Fantastic Mr Fox and to a lesser extent The Life Aquatic - simply because his films had become so formulaic - although it was a style I loved at first.

Moonrise Kingdom renewed my liking of Anderson films, a very warm hearted and witty tale even if the style was very familiar.
