@wizzeak: Pick any of the Twilight Saga.
@ed: What makes it even better is that among all the choices he had, he opted for The Hobbit.

See, wizzeak, now you've got a dozen recommendations. Does it make it easier to choose one now?

Ashes of Time redux. Interesting. A little too late to watch it though, it's not a simple watch -- not easy to follow.

those are two very solid options. I'll toss in what I consider the best movie ever made.

Once upon a time in america...the long version. The short one is garbage and does not make sense as sergio leon had pictured it.

I found myself absolutely enjoying Silver Linings Playbook, which is weird given that I'm a jaded, cynical asshole most of time I'm not asleep.

It was a good movie, even for a guy who does not like the genre at all.

To me it is the best movie ever made. Idk if it is my favorite, but ever since I saw it, it has been my benchmark.

    That movie is brilliant.

The wife and I went on an early-Eddie Murphy kick recently. The man made some awesome movies.

One of my staple movies. Every time it comes on TV I sit and watch it, commercials and censoring and all.

I agree, Trading Places is always a good watch. Fnally have to see it non-dubbed.
