    Dont understand why this guy gets love. Ghost Dog is his best movie, Dead Man is ok, but neither are really worth any praise IMO.

    Nah both of those are great, along with Mystery Train and Down by Law. He's also just the coolest dude. His other movies are mostly pretty meh.

    Batman The Dark Knight Returns Pt 2 - Fucking Awesome. Everything that I could have hoped for from the sequel. If only they could make a live action movie 1/10 as good as this .

    Feel the same way. Mystery Train is hilarious, Night on Earth had some moments too.

    Just watched "Safe House". I quite enjoyed it. Went in thinking it was gonna be pretty meh but nothing like that. There was plenty of action and it was well distributed throughout the film. Reynolds and Denzel make a good team, one as the brooding CIA officer and Washington pretty much has the tough, badass, not quite the bad guy thing down.

    For me, yes. Critics also loved it, for whatever that's worth. It might help if you already liked Wes Anderson's style, but even if you don't, I think you should go for it

    Watched a few good new releases recently;

    Life of Pi
    Django
    Argo

    Argo was certainly the best of the above.

    Also watched 'The Hunger Games' to see what all the hype was about. It was poor. Felt like a twilight version of Battle Royal. Jennifer Lawrence was obviously good though...;)

    ...Oh and a documentary called 'The Imposter' which was... unbelievable :O. Worth a watch.

    I was trying to watch this last night as well...couldnt find it on xfinity though so I went with T Crown affair...was in a mcqueen mood I guess.

    Im going with upsidedown pending its on PB. I check on my phone today and it looked like there were a few different files floating around. It comes out in US in March. I saw the trailer this weekend and it looks like its right up my alley.

    Thomas Crown Affair is that incredible rarity: a movie that was improved by being remade.

    Yeah, that was a fascinating movie, so much so that I went back a second time with my wife although she didn't like it nearly as much as I had. You do wonder what happened to the kid who was impersonated? Was the family covering up a murder, did the boy otherwise meet foul play, or did he just run away? Sounds like he was a bad kid.
