got up this morning at 5 am to kayack with a woman who is training to swim the english channel - I was acting as her support, she swims 9 hours once a week in deep water of lake michigan, and needs to have somebody rowing next to her to navigate, protect her from power boats and feed her.

Foxed with car's suspension on Sunday night for a couple hours (adjusting height, dampening, camber settings, etc).

Continued to struggle (and fail) at re-installing motorcycle carburetor. Made progress.

    Drank Goslings, neat.

    Lifted this morning.

    EDIT:

    ^^
This is anti-manly, I'm afraid. Women take their vehicles into garages so men can fix them. Men should fix their own shit.

I changed a flat on my car.

I heard a scratch followed by a "thump" as I was pulling into a on ramp to the whitestone expressway....Just the sound alone I knew it wasn't going to be good...

it turned out i ran over a bolt and the thing lodged into the treads and then fully punctured the tire... I managed to pull into a exit ramp with ample space to change out into the spare...

I did contemplate just waiting for a tow (because it was hot and it was the highway), but then remembered it takes about 20mins to change out a flat.... and any self-respecting dude would just man up put the spare on and move on.

smaller than my head, bigger than my scrotum. the people in the Sheraton Port Alegre have asked me not to come back to the breakfast room again, if I insist on measuring my bacon this way in the future.
