What kind of cuff is this?

I got this Borrelli shirt and thought it was a normal french cuff. It is obviously some kind of double cuff, but it has buttons and no slits for links.

A. What kind of cuff is this?
B. How is it worn?
C. Should it be worn?

Assistance is appreciated.

I assume you simply do up both buttons and fold the rest over. Like a turnback cuff.

yeah, looks like a largish turnback.

I'd be interested to see fit pics too.

that is a portofino, or cocktail cuff. one does up the buttons and then turn back the cuff (or turn it back and then close the buttons). It was used in a bunch of James bond movies.

If it is a 16/34, I will take it off your hands for a minimal disposal fee.

Tailor Store call them "Neapolitan" and is my choice whenever I buy from them. It really looks very nice.

Roger Moore (as Bond) era, if memory serves.

Actually even Modern Tailor has that cuff as option. Never wore them but from reading about it, the cuffs can be annoying to wear.

I used to believe Sean Connery/James Bond could get away with just about anything (yes, even that swimsuit or whatever) but those cuffs are just plain ugly

Cocktail cuff when worn looks like you put a collar on your wrist.

Hmmm while googling pictures of cocktail cuffs being worn I came across a cuff I've never seen before:
