That just sounds terrible. It makes me think of those shitty frozen ones that might have been somewhat palatable had you been drunk and actually put it in the toaster oven after you sprezz'd it up with some garlic powder and parmesan cheese or something…. but you were sober and impatient and thus microwaved it instead.

You bothered to microwave them? I would eat frozen Hot Pockets like they were really shitty It's-It bars or something. You kind of had to gnaw around the edges until it defrosted enough that you could take a real bite.

Even worse. I walked over to a bagelry down the street for me and ordered cheddar cheese pizza bagel with pepperoni which was then placed in their oven for a few minutes. It still was tasteless.

LD I would have never taken you for the not-even-defrosted-gonna-eat-it-anyway Hot Pocket guy. Damn… and I thought the dudes in my dorm who ate "raw" ramen out of the bag while sprinkling the cocaine dust, *cough* I mean MSG flavor powder on them were odd. :D

Yeah but srsly… what's the worst thing you ate while in college?! (I'm giving LD the benefit of the doubt that he doesn't STILL do this)

lol. I am a fan. Keg resides beneath the Morton's etc serious spend but above Outback etc. It remains today the mark of "arriving" for any Canadian townish city IMO.

For the past year or so I have been obsessed with brussel sprouts… I even made some more tonight. I can't explain it, but I freaking love them.

I first had brussel sprouts I enjoyed while dining with our own departed K-silk. They've been a pretty common dish in my repertoire ever since.
