I think the big three would probably be Dolin, Vya and Carpano Antica.

Ya. My bottle of Noilly Prat rouge is nearly empty now. I don't think I'll be able to find Vya here. Dolin 0.75 is ~7€. Carpano Antica ~20-25€... I want to try true Italian vermouth though, so I'll go with the Carpano.

Plymouth martini (3:1 gin:vermouth ratio). I have a co-op board meeting in half an hour, and will probably need another drink immediately thereafter.

    nothing unique

I been using Cognac lately. Tons of Remy Martin VSOP collecting dust. For some odd reason, my family always seem to gift me a few bottles.

    1.5 oz Gin
    1.0 oz Simple syrup
    .75 oz Lemon Juice

    Top with Champagne

I was at my favorite bar today after work. For some reason, I thought about this thread.

    Pequot Fizz

If you're tired of sidecars, I'm a fan of the Harvard:

    1.5 measures Brandy
    .5 measures sweet vermouth
    1/4 measure lemon juice
    tsp grenadine
    2 dashes bitters.

I'm trying the Martinez after so much discussion on the thread. Okay, but the 50-50 gin vermouth thing isn't really working for me.

At home a Negroni with ~1.25 sweet vermouth: 1 gin: 1 campari. And orange peel. Nice.

    Cocktails at Le Lion.

    Silver Gin Fizz.
Very few foam, Rambro. Taste was pretty decent though.

    Blood and sand. Just great.

    Ranglum.
Rum, more rum, more rum, Falernum, lime juice. Delicious.

Beuser Angus Special by Gonçalo de Sousa Monteiro.
    Green chartreuse
    Maraschino
    Lime juice
    Cream
    Sugar
    Orange flower water

Very herby, lots of Chartreuse. But still very tasty.

    Sazerac with Cognac. Decent.

    Morning Glory Fizz.
    Scotch
    Lemon Juice
    Absinthhe
    Sugar
    Egg white

Very tasty, too, but I think I preferred the Blood & Sand.

All in all a great evening. Great atmosphere, very friendly waiter.
