When you go into most men's stores or the men's department of better department stores, is there anything you wish they had more of? Or, what's missing all together?

To me few stores have a good assortment of pocket squares, it seems to be an after thought.

I would like to see more leather goods like portfolios.

Any other thoughts?

Most stores have atrocious ties, shoes and pocket squares.

Definitely need better shoes. And belts too. Oh, and socks.

I think the problem lies in the fact that most Americans buy accessories to look bold rather than to compliment what they are already wearing. Why would stores stock tasteful stuff when they can't sell it?

I work in a mens furnishings dept. and i find myself constantly asking for a better selection of socks. I can't seem to find any stores locally that stock a decent array of colors and patterns other than the normal blue, black, tan, brown, and every other neutral shade. I'd like to see socks in colors like pink, purple, teal, orange, yellow,.... etc (and no marcoliani milano price points)! I would also have trouble finding a nice selection of belts and braces. At my work I am allowed to place certain orders from Trafalgar but their braces still lack rich colors like royal blue.... just kind of what i would like to see more of

I would agree that there dosen't seem to be enough of a selection of pocket squares. All I ever see are sloid colors and the ones that have paters don't match any of their ties. I would also like to see more bowties and braces. The only stores in my area that seel them only get new bowties in about every 6 moths. I end of having to order most of mine online. A lot of their braces are solid colors as well and I have a hard time finding colors that match my shirts and ties.

I also wouldn't mind seeing some ascots/cravats either.
