I like it. I should wear both my Lock 'Coke' and boater more often. Perhaps now that the weather is improving, I can get my boater out more often *[IMG] .

I would suggest either "good heavens" or "good grief" as translations for sacre bleu.

    MtB.

Woe 2 doh! That is a fine looking Diamond plait Boater in your avatar as well. Any photos wearing it?

I ask a second (and final time): You brought up a thread started 31 months ago by an infamous member banned over a year ago, to comment on the avatar of a member with 27 posts in the past year and a half, none of them within the past 3 months?

And you are a commercial seller of hats?

And this is somehow not spam because......?

(No more comment from me in order to try not to add more spam myself)

I thank you for your insistence on fingering me as some bad hatter but you seem to have me confused with someone that is seeking new or additional business when its clear to me that I am instead enjoying my day off from a very overworked life.

Actually I am an old and tired hat maker that has been making a new hat shop for my new wife and our new baby and celebrating this wonderful life and my day off. Now I am not sure of your agenda but if it is to foul me out as a productive and posting member here, you would not be the first that choose to make bad of something good.

Sir can you please idenify your intent with your on going interrogation and do so on some private level so I can respond to you adaquatly with out interferring with the other folks here ?

Be assured if you are inquiring to purchase a hat from me you have not made a suscessful attempt as I have tried to make it abundandly clear that I do not care to take any orders.

Accusing a man of spamming to sell a product that he owns due to him owning the same is tantamount of accusing him of rape due to him having the utensils to preform the deed with. Rest assured I have nothing of value to offer on this forum but knowlege its self and that you may choose to use or disregard as you see fit but it will be dispersed freely and for free until I receive some official notice from the folks that pay the bills here that it is unaceptable to share what little I know.

Now you see and I thought I was bringing up what a nice hat this man hat shown here: http://www.styleforum.net/image.php?...ine=1141986303 and used as his avatar and hoping to elicit some conversation and possibly photos of him wearing it. Just goes to show as some others commented in this theard how language barriers do prevent the clearest communications where they be of differing countries of just differnt parts of the same country.

I am not aware of the infamous prestige or lack of it of that or any other member here banned or not but I am becomming quickly aware of how nasty some folks choose to be when it would be a lot easier to be nice. I once heard you had to use considerably more muscles to frown instead of smiling. I do not doubt it at all and I do not smile because I am happy just due to laziness from using them extra muscles. You do realize this thread is 4 years old, right? [IMG]

Homburgs are nice, btw, but I usually reserve them for more formal occasions. Or for days when I want to travel to work feeling like Mr. Dryesdale (as I did last Thursday in my grey one).
