    So I figured that since my shirts had collars, these fits could belong here without stretching the meaning of MC Casual too much.. X-post from the RRL thread in SWD

    I am not sure it is a thing so much as personal preference. Personal preference for me is that 3" is a little much, and if I need to roll my jeans that much, I will usually roll them twice over with a smaller cuff.. that said, I am actually having a bunch of my denim hemmed with a chainstitch hem so that I don't need to roll them anymore. I don't stack, and just want some variety in terms of how I can wear jeans..

    @gnatty8 I like those black boots. Where are they from?

    @Cotton Dockers +1 for O'Connells!

    Thanks. They are from the Frye Artisan Series. They take a few of their more "iconic" boot styles, harness, engineer, and roper for example, and have them made exceptionally well, with exceptional materials, and in a much more attractive way than their "mainline" runs. These are probably the finest "workwear" boots I have ever owned..

    Love this sweater (it was a gift). Wish I could afford to buy more from them.

    Thanks! It's Pendleton. Living across the river from the mill has its benefits, especially on Boxing Day. This was crazy cheap at the mill store.

    At some point I'll feature the blankets I got.

    Someday I will have a sort of robe/coat thing made with a blanket. Question is do I dare go full PNW fur trapper historic reenactment or something more moderate. Time will tell.

    Great stuff lately by the way TFT. Nice to see posts in the SW&D thread too.

    @gnatty8 BTW, that's not a bad blanket-type thing you have there, either. RRL? Very dig the Frye boots too (I have a pair of Brandos on in the pic).

    @FrankCowperwood Hey, thanks. Go trapper; fuck it.

    Speaking of denim, everyone, this is what I mean by tall Levi's cuffs being a "thing."

    Kind of an Americana/ranch/gearhead thing. I'm not really a motorcycle guy—I haven't been on one since the 90s—but I have rebuilt engines and I did open for Johnny Cash, so I feel entitled to wear any moto/cowboy/America bullshit I feel like.

    Yes, RRL. It's a great piece for me since southern winters don't ever get cold enough to justify anything more substantial..

    I'm always curious about merino polos; what brand?

    John Smedley! Really happy with the quality. Slim through the body and not too long either. Gran Sasso also makes good merino polos.

    Ah, Lucky Luke! Bien sûr, je le connais, hunh hunh hunh!

    He knows how to roll his denim, even. Though I wonder if the French cowboy boot game has improved with all this Internet. Last time I was there, there were cowboy boots in every single shoe store but they were totally weird, the shaft part being the only accurate component.
