Thank you! Today's the first day I've worn them. Some people might not like the idea of shined work boots but I think they look good. I don't plan to shine then again but to just let the shine fade away naturally.

I am not a fan of shined work boots either but those look very good... I agree... let them fade away with time and use... I am sure they will look great as well...

@Gerry Nelson Love the idea and, for the most part, the execution of your fit today. Pants are a little too baggy for my taste... a little narrower and tappered would have looked perfect IMO.

@YRR92 Yours it is a tough fit for me... I am pro-DB with no tie (just as you can see on my avatar picture) but a denim?/flower-print? shirt with that DB jacket with golden buttons? it is something a bit out of balance for me... maybe it is because the collars are out instead of within the frame of the jacket... that could be it as well... I can't really tell if the shirt is denim or a floral print shirt... or neither... sorry... all day long with contacts on and just got out of the gym after a hard work out and I am seeing a little blurry [IMG]

If one is to wear a DB jacket in a more casual or relaxed manner, I am more inclined to do it like this:

Or this (from the waist up... don't like those shoes and jeans with that jacket):

Or this whole combo (in the right size, of course, that looks a little too tight, and with prettier lapels):

In those you detract formality to the outfit making it more casual but at the same time you look well put together... I don't know if I am explaining myself, really... sorry if this post is a little messy...
