Yes, I took the liberty of cleaning up the thread. I don't think it was benefiting anyone.

FWIW, I'm disappointed that the posts were deleted. The exchanges were civil and the marketplace of ideas was doing its thing. Granted, MC WAYWT isn't necessarily the right venue for the topic but this is where the topic came up and I think it's fair to let it be discussed here too.

Stitchy, perhaps it would be better to spoiler the posts with MODERATED in the tag?

I think it is quite cheap for in stitches to take insulting shots at me here and be able to delete his own posts.

i dont have that power, unfortunately. if i did, i would have combined them and moved them to a new thread in general chat. as it was, civil or not, i think it was derailing the thread, and had nothing to do with clothing. i picked no winner, and deleted my own posts as well.

if anyone disagrees to with my action, feel free to PM emptym and ask him to reinstate them.

@a_y - i stand by my posts, insulting or not. and the mods can still see them.

You'd be standing by them more if you hadn't removed them. You're concealing your rude behavior.

Decided to wear my wool/linen suit with white sneakers. Not sure if casual or just ridiculous. :D

Appreciate the spirit of experimentation, but the sneakers appear a bit incoherent with full suit, tie and pocket square. And the colour contrast between the sneakers and navy pants is jarring. Maybe the sneakers with the jacket, button down, no tie and tan pants would work better.
