Thanks man, I really need to start paying attention to the fit of my jeans, I honestly just buy and wear. Need to wrap my head around hemming them. Good feedback

Jeans' length looks good. Formal trouser length rules don't apply to jeans; they should be long.

I guess we'll agree to disagree..I honestly do not think there is a right answer too it..Personally I think pants or jeans wise.. it looks better when it touches the top of the shoe cleanly and gently with not that much of a break.. to each his own..

Though I wouldn't cuff with the shoes kulata chose in this instance--nice looking jacket, good fit over all!

I think a better way to express it is they should be appropriately matched the to overall look/feel of the outfit. For me, it's never, "jeans should be ___ length." It is always evaluated based on how they are being worn.

In this case, I think the jeans would look much sharper brought up a bit. If they were worn with a more SW&D top half (and shoes/boots), then their length would be more appropriate.

What would help more than doing something about the length (please don't), I think, is haven those jeans tapered a bit from the knee down.
The leg opening seems to be quite wide now covering up too much loafer and giving them a workwear look which does indeed look incoherent with the rest of the outfit.
A slimmer cut round the calf and leg opening (like in Choc's previous post) would look much better.

This is good for trousers but too short for jeans

I have decided not to do anything with the jeans, simply coz I wear them with sneakers, boots and pretty much anything. It isn't practical for me to alter it strictly based on a single fit.

I think the tie was a step to far, not so sure about the tone of this shirt either, but c'est la vie, it is what I'm wearing...

Theo, a lighter shirt would probably complement the specs a bit better. As is, it's pretty dark up top and bright below.
