Looked black in the first picture, actual colour far better. Still lighter would be still better. I find myself agreeing with the niceness of the bag.
On second look longer shorts might've been good too, ones that short look a bit strange with long sleeved tops.

Not sure about this tie. Yes or no?

I'd personally vote no, it's a bit loud for my taste. Still, not the worst. If you're going to wear it, that's a pretty good way to do it.

+1. Any other color would work better though. Stay away from yellow/goldish ties for a while unless you know what to do with them and are confident enough with them that you don't have to ask.

Green, burgundy, even a muted orange, brown, etc. Those are all better.

Demean, I don't care for yellow ties, but there's nothing wrong with that (at least as it appears in the picture). If you like yellow ties, don't let the SF groupthink dissuade you.

Played at a wedding last night. Colorado has been cooling off lately and it's so nice! Sorry for the bad iPhone photos.

IMHO the tie works very well with this outfit.

inverallan is really in a different category than sns herning. much heavier weight, much rougher, much more like outerwear than a layering sweater.

Interesting... Good to know. Something a bit more layering-friendly is what I'll need. Any suggestions for something like the Inverallan but a bit more climate-controlled-environment friendly?

It's not bad Mark. I would have opted for a quieter square on this fit personally due to the tie being as complex as it is. Solid white linen with a lilac border might be an option here. Seems like it would work with that tie based on the pictures. Love the pick stitching on the SC, and I dig the shoes. Looks to me that the pants could use a slight hemming as well. Lots of break in that picture.

Works but I'd opt for a full suit rather than odd jacket/pants for that tie.
