No ties is probably a good, general guideline. Not a rule, mind, but if you're wearing a tie, the other elements really need to dress it down.

gnatty, discussed before. for my part, ill try and keep my decidedly not casual fits out for now, but not likely that everyone will abide by that. and i dont really mind anyways.

What's the accepted definition of "casual"?


i dont know if there is an exact definition, but i would say your fits are appropriate here. jeans and shirts, trous and sweaters with or without tie, chinos and SCs.... that kind of stuff i would say goes here.

Some people do like this thread more than WAYWRN because its not filled with the endless douchebaggery. But, yes, its getting a bit too formal these days.
