I do know it was taken by Bob Magill, and that that is well-known character actor Keenan Wynn gassing up his pal's tank (while smoking!); he was a lifelong motorcycle nut. Date sometime in the 50s.

No, I got these at some random western boots place in Texas, I think they may be Lucchese?

Corduroy, linen and no socks. [IMG] What weather is this appropriate for? Love the cut of everything.

I think this would look better with a non turtle neck and longer sleeves on the jacket. Also, it looks like the collar for the sweater got stuck under the jacket. I think it would look better if the collar of the sweater was showing too.

Well done @kent wang. Excellent tailoring and shoe trouser dimensions. This is why men need at least 100 pairs of shoes

Love to hear the deets on the jacket. I've always wanted a green peacoat.

Today - a stroll by the lake on a balmy mid-January afternoon.

Got this from J Crew a couple of seasons ago. Love the weight and roughness of the fabric. Has the feel of vintage military greatcoats..

Picked this up from one of the only workwear shops I am familiar with in Florence. John Woolrich and Sons..

Wife and I went to Versailles during our holiday trip to Paris... on a Monday... like idiots. The palace is closed on Mondays. The grounds were open but nearly every statute/sculpture was bagged up for the winter. Le sigh.

So we took some pics. This is the new peacoat I got for the trip, though it ended up being just as warm over there as San Francisco is right now.
