Wings & Horns and W+H spotting (or stalking) seems to a sport around here - where can I get a striped slim fit hoodie, M65 jacket, Duffel coat, etc...

Well, just thought that I'd pass along the information that Famous Friends (NYC) just got their shipment in today. Six boxes. Not sure exactly what is in those six boxes, but here is a shipment for you guys to decimate. Someone buy me a duffel coat, would'ja? Black would be nice, I think. Medium please [IMG]

Shit! I was actually hoping this would happen later as a "situation" with my shoddy bank probably won't be worked out until early next week.

Thanks a ton for the info though, LA Guy.

*crosses fingers in hope that a large duffel will remain unscathed for my sake*

Just to add, stevenalan.com is selling the classic fit hoodies online in grey pinstripe (medium sold out), olive, and black. They also have the shawl collars in black and olive.

Is that the first genuine sales of W+H online? Expect that to go quick. Do the shawl shirts come in any other colors besides black and olive? The olive is lighter than I expected.

Aak. And the black in large is also sold out. Meh, would've been an impulse buy anyway.

Kane told me that they offered the shawl collars in black, white, blue, orange, purple, and red. He said that he didn't think the orange ended up being produced though due to low order numbers.

They are much thicker. The tiger fleece is the thickest. I would say at least twice as thick, at very least. s

Should I size up from my classic fit size on the shawl collar? I noted people said it fits slim, and that people seem to where the slim fit hoodies one size up from classic.

I think that NdG might have them (in size small. Not sure though). Anyway, that picture looks great. I talked to the web person at Steven Alan today. She was a little confused about the whole W+H and Wings & Horns being 2 different lines... Tried to explain... don't know if that worked...

Anyway, I am waiting for mine to arrive at Peasant... hopefully tomorrow... It seems like all shipments have been coming in. Brian said that theirs is due to arrive any day...

so W+H hoodie from this season or the SF hoodie du jour from last season, the Rouges Gallery Shoreman?

after the 20% off at Active Endeavors they'd be around the same price.

    thoughts anyone?

    -Jeff

The W+H hoodie is a much better buy, imo. The construction is a lot better (my Rogues Gallery sweatshirts (I have 2) I found sort of "brittle", probably from the processing,) and I happen to like the fit more. However, if you like the washed red or olive of the Rogues Gallery hoodie, W+H doesn't have anything in that vein. Well. it has a Red or Olive Tiger fleece both of which are very distinctive, but the tone of the pieces are very different.
