Indifferent, but they look pretty nice. If I saw some for a steal I may be more interested. I really like the fbt-sole shoes coming out in fall with the metallic paint. Gonna pick up the white ones.

I really like the orangey kinda Swedish veggie tanned suede that they use for this season. And the subtle indigo patch is a really nice touch. Too bad they cost so much now, considering not the soles aren't replaceable.

Weren't fbts like 30-40k usually? They are around 800 now shipped :(

the more I look I look at these new FBT and the less I think the new sole match them. I still prefer the made in China`s sole best

Only brown green khaki and navy for fall in lowtop. No hightop listed in canvas- there is one in buffalo check wool.

Both the fbt jp and fbt folk are made in China now. Fbt jp use vibram, just like the fbt prime. However, the newer fbt prime vibram soles looks tougher and more durable at the first glance, as opposed to the jp model, which has a matte coat to it that feels kinda delicate IMO. Haven't worn them out yet though so I can't give out too much info on how they'll hold up in the long run.

I finally bought the fbt prime, the Swedish suede feels a bit softer, but have larger grains for some reason. The tpu stabilizer is now a glossy oval part, which does looks a bit different. The inner leather lining are now done in neutral color, should look great once it's starting to form the patinas.

Long time lurker, but the Visvim bug has bit after a pair of FBTs. Thinking about getting these Virgils with calico heel next, but concerned about the resole-ability. Any thoughts on how difficult it would be for a cobbler? (aside from sending them back to Visvim for a 6month resole wait). Also, how do these compare to the regular Virgils with the heel-cap?

Anyone know of any US dealers with good deals on any Visvim boots right now? Almost pulled the trigger on Hathenbruck and then the Grizzly's went back to full price.

The Resole job on these is exactly the same than with any other vis boots. They fit tts.
