I know the tickets are expensive and from what I know it goes to charity? How much is a ticket and where could it be bought (or is it only for ''famous'' people invite?)

Invite only, from what I understand. Most shows like this are like that.

Some people get +1s, I suggest you widen your scope of connections if you are interested in attending any type of event like this.

I thought so to. Well my connections in the EU are pretty good but can't find someone who will attend this. I wanted to see it last year but had no idea how to do it. So i'm searching from now in good time, there is no other way to do this?

    Donate $30K+ for a ticket...

Although I'm not sure who to speak to in regards to donating...usually going to a certain cause (like fighting Alzheimers)

^ I know, now you understand why i'm hunting so bad for a ticket would almost give anything. But then again I think it's very nice that the ticket price goes to charity (if I now could get one, probably not)

I looked into it for you and contacted Pure, who sources these types of tickets.

    Here was their unedited response:

So, yeah. $14k and you're there, plus commission ($1k-2500 I would guess).

That response reads like a come-on from a high end escort service.

Well, it is based in Montreal. I bet they would include one of their finest for an additional bump.

Gawd I miss my misspent youth trips to MTL for New Year's Eve...

I was there for last year's after party at the Dream. Shit was off the chain. If you go, say hi to Kanye for me.

Depends what your end goal is, and how awesome your DSLR is for us outsiders...

Either way I'd suggest getting on it...only a week away.

Edit: I'd also be interested in what kind of tax rebate they give you, if any. That could make a difference.

TruFax. The after party was held at the Dream hotel, where I happened to be staying. Had no idea this was occurring. Left the hotel and Slash and ran smack into Kanye's entourage. Saw him and Jay-Z later in the evening. Along with a bunch of B-list celebs.
