So the consensus is that the socks hold up well if washed carefully? Are we talking about the summer or winter weights? It sounds like even the winter ones can be worn in the summer.

Also, did everybody just order their regular US shoe size? I didn't see a definite answer in the thread.

Just your US shoe size should be fine. Seems from my limited sampling that they're sized in 1.5 euro-size increments. I ordered some in both 9.5 US and 10 US to compare sizes, and they're labeled as 42-43.5 EU/8.5-9.5 US and 44-45.5 EU/10-11.5 US respectively. The fabric does have a bit of stretch, so both fit fine for me as a US size 9.5EE. My next batch will probably be the smaller size for what it's worth though.

I have gotten nine pairs from Viccel some time ago. Shipping/customs does take some time, not really a problem if you expect it to.
Of the pairs I bought, I ordered all winter weight. The colours are beautiful and they hold up very well with washing. I got some OTC length, which I am starting to appreciate more and more.
My feet are really less damp compared to other (cheap) socks which contain synthetic fibres. Cotton does breathe better. They are warm enough for winter, but I feel they can also be used in warmer periods, just because they breathe so well. In some well-worn shoes, the absence of moisture makes the feet and socks move a little more inside (less friction).
I do want to try the summer weights and other colours or materials, so I expect I will be putting in another order soon.

I had not expected wearing better socks would matter much, but in fact it does. If you own some nice shoes, having nice socks that look good and feel good really adds to a pleasant feeling.

Quality of the product is good, especially for the price. Top edge finish might be a bit smoother. In one sock I found a very small hole on the side, but not really a problem.

Edit: just ordered 10 more pairs in summer quality. I like the new colours. Now for some argyle or other patterns.

Others said to wash special, hang dry etc.. i just throw em in with the regular wash and through about 4-5 cycles n issues.

I am a 12- ordered size 12- and fit perfect. All socks were summer-mid calf and 2 OTC.
    7 more on order..

Wow, received the 10 pairs today, sooner than I expected. New colours look great. These are all summer weight, 5 OTC and 5 midcalf. Thank you Kemal.

This is a bit of an issue for me as well. I would remove 1" from the OTC socks.

I hope they don't/haven't shortened their OTC lengths. If anything I could use 1" more!

Just placed my second order for a half dozen summer OTC, great value in these socks. I have a pair of falke I like a little better, but these are just as good as the pair of pantherella I have -and they are ridiculously cheaper than both those brands.

Look forward to seeing patterned socks in the future...

Looking at ordering the wool/silk socks. On the picture in the website, there seems to be a light tan and red which aren't options when placing an order online. Has anyone been able to order red or light tan or the lighter brown? How do these wear BTW?

Just got the socks. Fast and cheap shipping so that's a thumbs up1 I ordered 6. Summer and winter-weights. Doesn't seem to be much of a difference. Gonna try them out soon!

I got 2 pairs of the wool/silk socks this week. As others have said, they're very thin, but they're very comfortable. I think my feet prefer wool socks to cotton.

For those who've bought: the brown... is it a dark chocolate or more of a warm, reddy brown?

I think its somewhere in between. Not as dark, but not that warm either.

I can only speak for the silk/wool version; that's definitely more red than chocolate.

My socks arrived and I wasted no time and tried them. I live in a tropical place so ordered the summer socks. Thin but comfortable.

The purple colour runs and stained my white socks..[IMG] Should have separate them.

It is so thin that my feet tends to slide a bit. I will order the autumn ones and hope they are still as breathable.

    Value for money.

I do hope they come out with patterns though, strips etc...

Would anyone who owns a range of colours and weights care to post some pictures?

The ones on the website look very washed out and I wanted to see their true colour and hopefully get a sense of how transparent the summer weight is.

Or I could just order a couple eh?

    Show me what you got

The colors are vibrant and the winter weights are already almost see-through.
Just order a few in winter weight.
