It might be the case of under-promise, over-deliver.
Maybe they understand that getting 10 guys to agree can take 5 months...it's already one month from your first post.
Simple fact is, that you probably wouldn't have to bail if you had 5.5K from 9 guys after your 3rd or 4th post.

Looks like we'll be rocking them first.

No waste of time at all. I would have been happy to participate, but I decided it wasn't worth 10% to wait for others to decide on size, width and sole.

I'm pretty active on the Iron Heart forum, and some friends their pointed me here. This is my first post and I was wanting to find out where you guys are making the order from? Are you emailing Brett or inquiries@workboot.com, or do you still have a special deal going on? I'm strongly considering getting these and I just got some money on a PayPal refund that I didn't think I'd get, so I'd like to put a deposit down and get the ball rolling. This will be pair number 3...I'm a little obsessed. Let me know if I can get in on the discount group and I'm all over it. Want them just like they sit...no changes!

Sorry guys, but the group order is no longer on. I wanted to back out of the order as well as the position of group leader, but couldn't find anyone to take it over.

All the discussion was with both Brett and Jason, and they were informed that the group order appeared to be a no go.

However, if someone wants to pick up the baton and rally the boondocker less troops, then Viberg may be willing to give it another go.

BUT, you may find it easier just to place your order individually. And a few people interested in the group order have already done so, I believe.

    PM if there are Qs,,,,,

There is a fit guide on the website. Take the measurements and then call Viberg to work out your size.

Yes. Unfortunately, I think they are 1/2 size too big. If anyone bought these in size 9 and needs a little more room, I would be willing to exchange for my 9.5; provided yours are new, never worn. Thanks.

I am planning to order a pair but I'm closer to 11-12. How much did you size down?

I'm a 10.5US in most brands, a 10US in Alden Barrie and a 9.5US in Alden TruBalance. I am a 9.5UK in the Viberg 2030 last, which is a 10.5US. The Viberg boondocker is on the 110 last, which Jason said is a bit wider and deeper. He suggested that I stay the same as the 2030 last, but I should have gone down 1/2 size.

I would say it depends on how you intend to wear them. I would stay with 9.5 if I was going to wear them with thicker socks in colder weather. I plan to wear them with thin socks or without socks in warmer weather, so I don't need the extra room.

Just got my boondockers. I was worried about the sizing, but the 9s fit perfect. Here's some quick shots of them.
