    Looks good. I still think the 1" heel is a little small on the service boots tho. Have they done anything with a larger heel?

    It's finally cooling down in Toronto. First day wearing my Vibergs 2040 last in Horween waxed leather. Insane quality, comfort and style.

    The 2040 seems to be the perfect compromise between dressy and workboot. Not too heavy in either camp

    Am I the only one not thrilled about the 2040 Last? The cap looks too long, collapsed and wide. I figured 2030 is more to my likings, and this just confirmed it.

    I wonder how people choose a last. I choose one based on shape of my feet, not on its look.

    But for most people, there are more than just one lasts that fit. Among these models that fit, you can have preference based on looks. For me, it is only the 110 and now also 2040 that I would avoid.

    Completely agree. I've always wondered why people insist on Alden's modified last, originally created for orthopedic shoes, because they feel it looks "sleek."
