The pregnancy entrapment thread reminded me that I have been meaning to get a vasectomy. Surprisingly, we don't seem to have any current treads on this topic - just scattered references in various threads.

I am in my early 40s and already have one child. I love this kid dearly and feel fortunate to be a part of her life. But, I am done. I never want diaper duty again.

I am especially curious to hear from members who have undergone the procedure. Did it hurt? How long did it take? How long until you could walk/run again? Does orgasm feel any different?

I had one, basically a few weeks after my twins were born. I hate to say this, but it was very inpleasant, much more so than I expected, and I believe extraordinarilly so - not painful, it just felt like the doctor was rooting around and pulling stuff and trying to get the job done.

I swellled up like a fucking grapefruit, I kid you not. my balls were purple and about the size of a grapefruit. I didn't call the doctor, because I assumed that was normal, and it was only later that I understood that I had swollen a lot more than normal.

that said, all the pain and swelling were gone in a week, and I was back in action soon after. not a biggie all together, and I think that 99% of guys have a better experience than me, and I would still do it over.

Tragic accident. West24's mother thought she heard him coming inside the house, and in her startled state, accidentally bit down on one of them.
