I don't remember to be honest but I think they were brown or beige cotton chinos. Would look good with light grey pants as well

FYI there was a length of green Solaro by Carlo Barbera at il vecchio drappiere.

I love green. Some nice examples from bntailor below. Both are linen, but I think a textured wool would work as well.

A lighter weight 520 has value.

Also, if there were more 15oz Frecoes, in somewhat lighter greys, they would be useful. I would go for a charcoal good for business suits, as well as a mid grey that could be worn under a blazer.

This one looks great! Do you know the weight of the fabric?

Photo of Mark popped up today. Hard to tell if I'm right, but the jacket here looks greenish on my screen. I'm really liking the dark green Fresco idea.

I don't know if your florentine MBT will travel with ties to the trunk show, but he had a tie made up with that exact fabric when I visited the shop a few weeks ago.

Exquisite Trimmings has it on sale for £55. I wish I had could jump in on that SC MTO...such an awesome fabric.

    You and I, Murls.
Alas, economical restrictions come into play eventually. And we are still getting some consolation price anyway. ;)

I'd take one of those. Not sure how often I would wear as a suit, but I would wear the jacket a lot and the trousers casually. Something like Braddock posted in Pitti, but darker.

I hope he will, his tie selection is great! Did you order anything with him?

Here are a couple images of green suits from P Johnson tailors although is in cotton. I think it will look nice in Fresco in the right shade of green.

There's a H&S Crispaire in forrest green (3). I have no experience with the cloth and have read on here that it is more refined than fresco - possibly not suitable as an odd jacket. But it may be an alternative rather than trying to put together a run of fresco.
