If you are on the list below and are interested in FABRIC 1a for $33.50 per meter + shipping from the UK, please confirm you interest in the thread

As a reminder, 1a is the larger scale pictured in swatch image, 450 grams (15.9 oz)

Also, remember that it's for a BARLEYCORN ONLY fabric. They are making it without the herringbone in the swatch.

147% confirmed to the goal for the 1a fabric. (88.03 out of 60 meter minimum)

http://www.joelandsonfabrics.com has some random bits, but I don't think there's anywhere you can buy their whole line direct as a consumer.

@jrd617 I'm in for 15 meters if the cloth can be sent directly from the UK to France.

Thanks Boulito, you just put this order over the 60 meter threshold. :slayer:

I would hope that they can ship to France. They're mailing it to the US already, so France should be cheaper right?

Order is now 61 77 meters!!! If other people want in, now's the time to speak up. Fast tracking individual payments for this weekend/early next week. Contact email at Reid and Taylor to be posted soon.

What fabric books do you guys use for odd trousers? I want to use Dugdale Bros. English Classics & Town Classics hopsack, twill, and sharkskin.

Minnis Fresco and flannel for my more formal odd trousers. I've been pretty happy with Dugdale for moleskins (Brisbane Moss is pretty decent too for corduroy). Holland and Sherry makes some very nice linen fabric. I only have a suit from Holland and Sherry but like it enough that I am probably going to get some odd trousers made up from it too.

I'm putting an order through them on the behalf of some members. Their sale terms feel like they're changing all the time. At least over the last year or two that I've been ordering from them. FWIW, right now, you can order RC numbered items, but if your order totals 30 yards or more, there's a discount. The order I'm putting in is about $6.50/ yard, landed. Without the bulk order, I was quoted about $9.50/ yard, landed.

@jrd617 I'm not sure about the large scale--I'm surprised as I thought there was more support for the smaller scale. What scale was the LL version that @slewfoot had made up?
Btw, how much is shipping to the US?
I guess I can always resell it if I don't like the scale....

I would like to make this as un-complicated as possible for Reid. They say they don't usually cut it into separate orders for consumers like us.

Can you live with 6.75 meters and have you tailor cut it? Frankly, I'd rather not make that request of them. They are already doing us a huge favor.
