    Beat me to it...

    $25.

I might be interested if I care for the shade.

16oz is the lowest I'd go for flannel.

I would have thought beige with a lot of grey dust and the odd grass stain. But there are doubtless different flavors. If the existing donkey samples are a little too grey, a mottled fawn would be perhaps more useful.

Some things I have in stock

    Donkey flannel chalkstripe

    Worsted tan flannel 12/13 ounce

Taupe and brown houndstooth 11 ounce

Don't know how well the colors will render from these iPhone pics

This has more olive in it but is a great color close to donkey from this book.

What's the color previous to this one? That looks a little more closer to the mark in this photo.

Add me to the list. I would be in for a suit or trouser length depending on the shade.

Yes, it's good, hardy cloth - nothing fancy, similar in spirit to Dugdales. Sometimes also sold under the Groves & Lindley banner.

Hm, Manton's "donkey flannel" is nice, but in my mind, I was thinking of something in between these two shades for Unbelragazzo's tan/ sand flannel

FWIW, the pics I posted in the cloth thread all those years ago are awful. It really looks nothing like that.

Something just a tad darker / browner that this would be perfect.

I would be interested. How much would you need for trousers for someone of average height and weight? 1.5 M?
