I imagine a land, like Bhutan, where Barney Miller runs in syndication and he is the most popular person in the country. And then some local entrepreneur tries to cash in on it. And then when none of the shirts sell they ship the stock to the 1st World to sell to our poor people in thrift shops.

For me, the best part is that they abbreviate the label "B.M."

Anyway, I've picked up a couple of things (not much) while I've been out of communication, but here's one that I assume is a fake - I've never seen it anyway.

Bought these in a thrift a couple months ago, they tore apart when I tried them on at home. Yesterday I looked more closely at the labels/print

Polyester pants, heal thyself. Dead stock pants from the 1970s.

RARE! IN THE WILD! The oft referenced yet rarely seen quintuple-pleated pants.

Think there's quite a few of these Polio Rlaph Leren type shirts and jeans doing the rounds at the moment.

I've been had! Didn't catch this. Was dirt cheap, so no big loss. Kind of funny though.

That was the funny one. The other two were Armani knock-offs. I bought them all. :| Live and learn.
