I have a question for the travel pros. When you know you're going to be stuck on an aircraft for several legs of a trip and will land in bad weather, what kind of footwear do you choose when you need to walk into something looking sharp? Boot or shoe? Calf or cordovan? Or am I looking at it wrong and should pack better shoes in a carry on?

I just hit Pittsburgh and fortunately was able to get checked in and change, but my flight was almost delayed so I might have to go directly to an engagement in the future. I'd like to pick the S/F braintrust on this because I know you guys probably have a system or solution for this issue.
