Perhaps isaia? Have a Dustin model jacket and am quite partial to the shoulder. Thanks.

Dustin is a very soft shoulder, Isaia's most "Kitonesque" model. Quite different from this TF.

Compared to the TF, it might be a better fit (pic is a bit blurry to tell). But how about trying other brands also, just to be thorough.

Better - yes. I also think the notch lapels work better for you. I would also suggest R may be better than S although would need a full body shot from shoes to head.

I will make a lukewarm suggestion here - why not give Oxxford and some other US or British makers a day in court? You want a suit that is well structured yet relaxed in its proportionality along the midsection. Canali is closer to working, but check out Oxxford and Hickey Freeman before taking the plunge.

Thank you much.
Both the dustin and the Canali have a "softer shoulder." Do y'all agree that is the better silhouette for me?
Yes, significantly better.

Yes sir. Thank you. In fact, all i wear now is oxxford. I had them made about 3 yrs ago and have since dropped a significant amount of body fat and replaced it with muscle :) (or less fat, depending on how you look at it :tounge:) As such, my tailor and i have been tweaking the suits but i think she is at the end of the line and it's time for some new ones.

Isaia is nice. A little pinchy on the waist but has potential particularly if you continue slimming down (or get tailor to let out around the waist since there is usually an inch or so of fabric to let).

Right now though - Canali fits you best by far. Isaia has potential to fit but would need some work letting out or you working out and losing excess spare tire :).

If you are on a major weight loss spree, why not hold out for a bit until you hit your targets? Once target hit, get some suits. For now make do with slightly awkward fitting suits you already have.

Looks best so far. I think this length may suit you, but I need a full-body shot to tell for sure.

I think the Isaia works better... not sure where you see it being too tight in the waist as his hand is in the air.

Exactly, this.
And, FWIW, this is mine :

MTM or RTW, Spoo? I assume the latter but just checking.
While I know that the big boys are fawned over no matter what, in this case, truly a fine suit on you.
I also like the child's shoe pocket accessory. Spot on.

Just got you message cuz this hurricane has messed up everything over here. I figured id just reply to you on here though. The TF doesn't really look like it works on you. It seems a bit tight in the shoulders and chest but long in the arms. Like other posters have stated TF while a great brand and a forum favorite only really works on a certain body type. They do have other Bases (Models) but seeing as how this is a A i don't know if they would work for you as the other times id have to size up like for a base F and base T as opposed to just wearing a 48 in a base A. The other jackets you posted seem to fit better compared to TF and i think klobber already mentioned this but Canali seems to fit you the best. Sorry it didn't work out for you but if you die die want TF then MTM is always an option but keep in mind that even if they can make it fit you it might not look like the TF ideal look which is what the pic Spoo posted pretty much is

If you compare the Isaia with the Tom Ford (and Canali), wow, what a HUGE difference. Go for Isaia!
