This might be one of the best posts I've ever seen on the internet.

Serious question: Do you think there is anything we can do to help remove the bottleneck for refunds?

    "Bottleneck".

You muppets waiting on refunds on the fifth month have been scammed. Act accordingly (clue: complaining on a forum is not it).

I doubt it. For jackets, seeing if Drew might get someone to help him sort out the emails, which is a logistical nightmare for any type of volume, maybe that's possible.

Anyone interested in starting a kickstarter to help Drew out?

I feel like you're joking, but yeah I'd do this. The problem is nobody knows what's wrong and what it would take to fix it, so I'm not sure that throwing more money at Drew is the answer.

Dudes, just try to recover your money if you aren't fine with getting a jacket at an undefined and possibly very far away date, otherwise just wait. Nothing else to do really. In pother words contact your financial institutions, they fuck you enough over the mid and long term to have your back when you need your $800 back.

I thought that's what Charlie has been doing?

Wouldn't it be the other way around? If you paid for your jacket in USD, and if the AUD has depreciated against the USD (which it has), then when you have your refund processed, you'll actually get more AUD back.

Who knew that buying a non-existent jacket from ToJ could help with international currency arbitrage?

You'd think that would be the case, right?

Actually, banks are pretty good that way. But Drew will have chance to respond, and since he is not actually missing, or not putting out product, just putting it out extremely slowly, and it could be argued that you entered into this contract with an indeterminate timeline, you might be fucked. I had an issue once (the vendor simply went broke) and the bank required me to furnish information about the agreed upon timeline, and also evidence that he was not going to make good on his promise at any time (Martin Greenfield, the manufacturer) actually helped me out on that end.

All I am saying is that when you have those kind of problems, they usually value continuing fucking you over slowly so they want to avoid giving robbing you of that insignificant amount and thus making you pissed off enough to to go another shylock. They'll have your back.

Otherwise, well, jackets are being made, so will yours. Will probably take some time.

I'm at like 16 months and 13 months now. So much shit has happened in the time that I have waited for my jackets.

Still pumped to receive them though. Keep the faith.

66th week anniversary for me. I guess it will be another 12-20 weeks if Drew can manage to consistently ship out jackets. We've barely seen any shipments the last couple of weeks.
