Does this include MDRs? Where did you hear this from?

Drew just posted a picture on his instagram that shows tons of EMS slips. Should see another batch out soon hopefully.

Aren't DRs and full leather bombers taking just as long? The only products I see moving faster are ToJ02013s and MA-1s.

And qdrs are even less popular. We will probably get shafted to the end of the line

Be nice if he could man up and post updates in this thread instead of posting pics on his private, restricted Instagram account.

Yeah, the wallet thing is interesting. It seems like a lot of people just jumped at the idea of getting in on TOJ at a lower price point, plus the fact that they were more or less misled on a quick turn around was just enough of the push they needed to ignore the fact that things are glacial in terms of delivery.

At the time, I remember thinking it was insane that they'd be offering a completely new product when they had people that had been waiting months already for other products they sell. The turn around seemed too good to be true, and it was.

I like the juxtaposition of the ashtray full of cigarette butts and the asthma inhaler right next to it.

Seems like jackets aren't the only things being delayed. I asked for a refund on 30 October and there is still no word on it.

Maybe he's tried sending it via a package to the wrong address?

Recently saw a really intriguing MDR makeup on the TOJ gallery (this set of pics http://toj-gallery.com/main.php?g2_itemId=23318 ). I love how minimal it looks, so I emailed to inquire if some similar modifications might be possible for my order (I can do without the lower waist and wrist banding, as well as shoulder gussets). But was told such customizations haven't been possible for a long time. Oh well.

In other news I'm almost certainly going to configure a Harris tweed varsity via House of Billiam. Just too good to pass up.

Gotta say that I don't think any of those changes are improvements to the design. Looks off.

Well, tastes differ. I never really like gussets on jackets because it's too...brash or "biker" for me (and the rest of my wardrobe), and eliminating the banding just makes it a bit cleaner.

Know theres a lot of TOJ hype up in here, but I have to say that harris tweed is some real marketing bullshit

Personally I just care for the look and I like matters of history and tradition in clothing. Most things can be disparaged as "marketing bullshit" (including, ahem, TOJ itself).

The product itself is what made TOJ, not some crap about history and tradition that lends itself to a hefty markup.
