So do you own any ToJ at the moment or did you ask for a refund on your only purchases?

Are we still able to upgrade from lamb to calf?
Any differences in leathers besides cosmetic?
Which leather retains body heat best?
    Thanks.

Calf is somewhat like raw denim..requires break in and super stiff at first. Feels sturdy and armor like.

Lamb is already pre broken in (relatively speaking) somewhat like soft washed denim. Super supple and drapes nicely as a fashion leather jacket should. I feel like for something like a DR, calf would look nicer (more structured and shaped) but for something like a A-2, lamb is preferable because of the drape.

In terms of warmth, calf might be marginally warmer but this is a guess.

I've owned quite a few TOJ since its start, from lamb to horsehide to calf. Warmth is the same IMO. Calf is a lot heavier though and is not for everyone. Some of my friends sold their calf jackets because they were too heavy for their taste.

Hey guys, my Wool MA-1 arrived today, ordered on October. Be careful when you're opening the box because it's just the jacket inside and nothing else, I almost nicked it with my knife. Extremely comfy but too warm to wear at the moment. Hope you all get your jackets soon.

edit: i didn't receive tracking btw

I love the idea of Distorb finally getting his ToJ package, and then in all the excitement, accidentally slices through his jacket while trying to open the box. Would make for such a perfect ending.

He posted one two days ago, although it was still rather light on actual details (as well as very light on an actual apology for the very lengthy delays and the near-total lack of communication over the past six months):

Or do you mean future updates? If so, it will be interesting to see if Drew is now going to provide regular updates or whether the above update will be a one-off.

And then his mom, in a hurried excitement over what she thought was her new Macy's purchase, accidentally cut the jacket while trying to open the package.

^I forgot about that. Don't hold your breath waiting, though - Drew didn't specify which Monday.
