Drew is just burnt out. That's the whole explanation. He has said as much many times.

You don't get to be burnt out when six figures of your merchandise is unaccounted for

So, the payment you received from the random person was not marked as gift? I am asking because if not, you could potentially end up in a situation where the other person orders a charge back/files a complaint resulting in you having neither jacket nor money but only a big fat dent in your credit score.

Being burnt out is a great excuse for closing a business. It's not a great excuse for saying we're going to close to the business for months on end while taking in hundreds of (maybe even more) orders and then failing to deliver.

You're leaving yourself open to a certain amount of risk. I would probably contact paypal and let them know what's going on so at least it's on record somewhere that you are not the one that has promised to provide a product for the payment. That way if the future buyer does file a complaint and tries to get his money back, you can always point it back at TOJ.

Now I'm paranoid as hell. Paypal fees are only 30 cents (if refunded within 60 days) but you can still do it after 60 days and they would just reimburse the initial fees that were incurred when accepting payment.

So why the hell aren't they just sorting things out that way? Why go through all this headache to save 30 cents?

Gift payment doesn't mean shit. I can think of three ways off the top of my head to reverse a gift payment and win almost 100% of the time. It's a very common scam.

I don't see why it even matters if Drew is burnt out. It's not as if he has to make all the jackets himself. He has to potentially go to the post office once a week?

I can't believe I have to sell this after 14 months and I love BCDR design more than anything, but looking at the spreadsheet I strongly believe TOJ wont be able to deliver my jacket until next summer. I guess I would just kop an Acne/rag & bone/Vanson this season and call it a day.

Edit : I have an August spot for sale. PM me.

I actually like BLK DNM jackets too.

I hope we get a legit update soon. I'd be happy with an honest answer too, 'we used the funds to start up the restaurant' etc and a solution that isn't transparent. Sell BMW to refund us all and call it quits? Whatever it takes. It's our money.

Okay. Well, WTF should I do!? I asked for a damn refund.

Refund the transaction and tell Charly I want payment directly from them?

Why won't this whole TOJ nightmare just end!

It took hundreds of frustrated customers uniting over several internet fronts... but finally the king shall leave his holy mountain and address us peasants.

This is why Drew needs to just go ahead and chime in.

No hype man. No food talk. Just a clear explanation and god willing, some follow ups. This isn't the SotU address
