I wonder if a TOJ blacklisting means you can't eat at Drew's restaurant either.

I went to Drew's restaurant a few weeks ago and ordered the dry-aged steak. It was delicious and well worth the 30 day wait for it to age.

let's hope the restaurant turns a profit so he can start making the year ago ordered jackets!

Damn you Drew, and your time in the kitchen! Get back to sewing our jackets! If the wait times are super long, you should also get Charly (and while we're at it, why not Willy too) involved! I'm sure all of you would be a great help at cutting and sewing the jackets.

Did Drew ever mention why the DR 2010 cuffs changed? They weren't completely smooth-ended on the sample.

i don't think it's ever come up. the sewn "hem" on the sample's sleeves seems weird to me. also, isn't that sample calf?

    ah, ok.

anyway, to try to answer the question--pure conjecture based on my sense of TOJ and how samples are made for clothing companies--is that it was just a little aesthetic tweak away from how the sample was made up, that either Drew never wanted those hems there but they ended up on the garment maybe through a miscommunication, or maybe a worker not following Drew's specs; or that once the sample was made, he realized he didn't want them there. Since the toj stuff is similarly styled to the MMM 5-zip, I'm betting it's something like the former.

Hmm yeah, I had presumed it was just a design detail that Drew changed his mind on, but it's definitely possible that it ended up on the sample by accident.

Good point about the MMM stuff too...

I think it would probably help if, when people post their spots up for sale, they copy and pasted what I explained about the blacklisting. It would save a lot of work.

How much should I expect the shoulder to stretch ? I think I might size the lamb BCDR a bit short (0.75") in the sleeves but I don't want to modify anything cuz I'm at 41st week.
