Wow, I've been trying to decide which BCDR to get, and that oxblood just sealed it for me. Amazing.

Hoping some of the taller guys can help me out with some measurements.....

Finally got my body measurements in (for MDR) and Charly responded with his recommendations... and Not sure if they will work, I compared them to a jacket that is too small for me and his recommendations were even smaller than that.

    Body Measurements:
    Height: 6'5, Weight: 225

    1. Shoulders: 19"
    2. Chest: 43.5"
    3. Midsection: 38"
    4. Waist: 40"
    5. Front Length: 24"
    6. Sleeve Length: 28"
    7. Bicep: 16"

You'll probably want to go with something like this:
    shoulders 19.0"
    chest (pit-to-pit) 23.5"
    midsection 21.2"
    waist 21.6"
    body length, front 24.0"
    body length, back 26.3"
    sleeve length, from shoulder 27.0"
    sleeve width @ pit 8.2"
    sleeve width @ elbow 6.7"
    sleeve width @ cuff 5.2"

If anyone can help that is around 6'5 and post your body measurements for comparison it would really help. Pretty sure I got the body measurements right on but I'm thinking I need to get to a tailor to confirm. I postponed doing this for months basically cause I worried Id mess this up.

^ if the measurements don't jive with a jacket you already own, then it might be a good idea to measure a well fitting jacket and submit those measurements too

That oxblood calf picture has CHANGED... EVERYTHING!

But I've been set on a black calf DR 2010 for so long now.

Oxblood 2010 DR + Black Lamb QMDR
Black Calf 2010 DR + Navy Lamb QMDR
Black Lamb 2010 DR + Oxblood QMDR

    Damn.

    Can't decide.

Might be best to stick with what I already have before Charlie deadlifts me into the afterlife.

Very much depends on where/how you measure. As always, trust Charly.
The only thing I see that might be off is your front length, unless you have very long legs.

EDIT: You realize Charly's suggestions (chest, waist, mid, sleeve) are NOT the circumference, right? They are one side only.

    For reference, I'm 6'2", 190.

    My moto:
    shoulders 18.6"
    chest 22.1"
    mid 20"
    waist 21"
    front length 23.5"
    sleeve 25.5"
    width @ pit 7.7"
    width @ elbow 6.6"
    width @ cuff 5.5"

    Quick snap:

Some pics of my 4-zip moto in brown calf. I've had it about a year. I wear it about 1/3 of the time; I typically go with my CWU.

I've added about 10 lbs in muscle since buying it, so a couple pages back I was throwing around the idea of buying a new one. My posture isn't great and I have prominent shoulder blades, so it kind of rides up in the back. It's also skintight when zipped, although I only wear it like that outside in cold windy weather. It's even tighter when wearing something more substantial than a t-shirt, e.g. undershirt and OCBD. However, I think I'm going to just keep it.

Heh. They're new and I needed to get a looser fit for my thighs than in the past. The waist is kinda big on any jeans with thighs large enough for me, so I need to keep my belt pretty tight and higher on my waist than normal.

Remeasure "from the collarbone (top of the bone point, if you want to be exact) to where you think the jacket should hit." (probably at your belt buckle for MDR, see gallery for ideas)

    Measuring your body
Step 5) Front length - measure from the collarbone (top of the bone point, if you want to be exact) to where you think the jacket should hit. Preferably well below your navel, about where your pelvis dips down, but not quite all the way to the natural crotch. If you’re wearing jeans high and fitted on the butt, the jacket should hit about mid-rise on your jeans. If you wear your jeans slightly sagged, then it should go right below the waistband on your jeans.
(this measurement should be nowhere near as long as an untucked buttonup shirt, and if you wear your tees long, not as long as that either)

    Measuring a jacket that fits
    5) Front length: (the back length is calculated automatically from the front length) - Start from the bottom of the collar band, or if the jacket doesn’t feature this the same way, then where the small between your collarbones is, to the bottom of the jacket, straight down.

Tracking info received this morning, package received this afternoon.

Just got my "Charly special" MA-1 after about a 24 week wait. I took the advice of many on here and tried to forget I ordered a jacket.
Only emailed Charly once after my order went through ; /

I'm ecstatic. It's even more beautiful than I had anticipated and I know it'll look even better after I break it in a bit.
    Sizing was spot on.

    Man, it feels good!

I always thought peeps were exaggerating the softness of the leather, they aren't.
It feels like it's too soft.

Is this "muted sky blue"? It's gorgeous.

Been following this thread for a long time. I've lost 20 pounds since August and am still in the process of losing another 20, but I want to get an order in before TOJ closes up shop permanently. Narrowed it down to these 3 (will pick 2): black lamb 2010 DR, brown lamb A-2, and a blue suede T-3.
