Dexter started great and ended horrible. Breaking Bad is over rated. TOJ is neither.

Putting in an order for a BCDR. Silver zips. Can't decide between black lamb, calf, or unglazed goat. I'm not careful with my clothes, but I want something wearable in an NYC spring. I want a jacket that is pretty heavy. Goat could be interesting in the BCDR, thoughts?

I'd say goat. As I understand it, it's a good medium between lamb and calf. I had- and sold, because of fit issues- a lamb TOJ and while the lamb is buttery soft and beautiful, I did feel that my usual rambunctiousness would eventually tear it. If I were to reorder, I would get goat, just for the bit of extra robustness without the added structure of calf.

Anyone have a dark brown goat that they have had for awhile? I'd be curious to see pics and if it lightens up a bit at all.

    I think it'd better on a 2010 or a 4-zip.

agreed^ the only one i've seen is afl's sand lamb 2010DR and that thing looks fucking amazing. don't know how well it'd look on a 2013dr or a bcdr but that's up to you. if you're set on one of the two, I'd say bcdr, though.

Do you mean the dark-dark brown goat? If so, no, not really. Some of the grain smooths out a little, but that's it.

At the time, I was about 145 lb and got a size 46 with 22 in front length, 24 in back length and 25.5-26 in sleeves (this also applies to the rest of the varsities I've had: 1 | 2). Currently, I'm 155 lb but can probably still fit into them.

    My A-2 measurements are:
    • Shoulders: 17.5 in
    • Pit To Pit: 19 in
    • Midsection: 18 in
    • Waist: 18 in
    • Front Length: 22 in
    • Back Length: 24 in
    • Sleeve Length: 26 in
    • Bicep: 7 in
    • Elbow: 6.5 in
    • Wrist: 5.5 in

    And my QBCDR measurements are:
    • Shoulders: 16.8 in
    • Pit to Pit: 19 in
    • Midsection: 17.2 in
    • Waist: 17.6 in
    • Front Length: 21.2 in
    • Back Length: 23.2 in
    • Sleeve Length: 25 in
    • Bicep: 6.5 in
    • Elbow: 5.9 in
    • Wrist: -

Word of advice, don't try to base your measurements off other people just because of similar height & weight unless their body measurements are similar to yours along with the way they wear the clothes themselves (how tight or how loose/how long or how cropped). For instance, I could have a much longer/shorter torso, longer/shorter arms, skinnier/bigger arms, wider/narrower shoulders, wider/narrower chest, midsection, waist, etc.

No tracking yet ... but my A-2 arrived at my house yesterday!

Unfortunately it was my house in Ireland (I moved to Spain last month) so I won't see it for a few weeks until my folks come and visit, but wheeeeeeee! Getting them to send me lots of photos; looks fucking amazing so far.

I'd asked Charly about remaining wait time last week and he said they were still a long way off shipping, so this was completely unexpected :)
