Black lamb is fine for autumn/spring. Was just comparing it to my other ivory lamb toj, which I can't wear out in ~30-40F weather with just a tee.

Should have gone for the dark whiskey/silver zips combo. But it looks good regardless :satisfied:

I originally ordered it with silver zips, but made the swap to guns because I didn't want the flash on a conservative, earthy toned jacket. I'll save silver zips for my black leathers :)

I accidentally ended up with gunmetal on whisky as well, looks fine, just gives it a more conservative look. Asked for silver on my navy BCDR and black qmoto, gunmetal would probably look bad on either of those two...

Good choice man. Although I do prefer silver zips on everything. [IMG]

I think the only jacket that looks better w gunmetal is the dr2010, silver would be too flashy for it IMO. All the other jackets look great with silver.

More a matter of colour matching than jacket styling for me. I love anything black lamb with silver zips, the moto linked before mine is a perfect example, but brown/whiskey/earthtones pair really well with gunmetal in my opinion.

I almost got into knife fight just a couple of months back when I was travelling. Big eastern european dudes. Whilst i was wearing my TOJ and they were wearing merely turtleneck sweaters (possibly baby alpaca) I did not feel as though I had any advantage from wearing my TOJ. I am pretty sure I would have gotten shanked and ended up in the river bed. I know you are just using hyperbole to demonstrate how tough/thick the calf is, but really the calf isn't that bad and gets really pliable/soft with a little bit of wear.

Revisited. I had to use even more advanced searching techniques than willy taught to find this. [IMG]

That's impressive I must say. The dudes blood vessels must also be pretty tender or something.

A pit bull has a bite force of 235 pounds. I think the impressive quality of that leather is really whats on display there. He's lucky he didn't get a crush injury.

Here I was, poring over Y!JP and B&S for weeks trying to find the "perfect" MA-1. Went back to take a look at the wool suiting one and it finally hit me how beautiful it really is.

after shopping around a bit my respect for drew has grown exponentially. the price of even the worse quality leathers is ridiculous, mid level is 2-3x the price of a toj.
