a lot of ppl on the other side (MC) consider black to be boring.
i dont think any of the trousers would go well with bedford to be honest. they are very clean cut and the bedford is slouchy, correct?

Your probably right. Don't have any other nice jacket, though [IMG]

    Going for the black ones.

If it means anything, I feel the trousers are gonna look really good with things like a big scoop shirt or something and some derbys or wedged shoes. Thinking along like some of the undercover or lad musician type looks with a tee and trousers.

fffffff. waffling between dark green and persian (dodger?) blue for a suede harrington. green is the logical choice (meshes with my current wardrobe, etc.) and looks great in my head, but then i remember the pics of the blue in the toj gallery and start salivating.

too many jawnz, not enough $$$

edit: current spring/fall wardrobe = light-colored shirts + dark bottoms (black jeans, navy/charcoal trousers) + assorted footwear in black and white

Is the blue the one the sample was made from? that's the best color for a suede harrington, by far IMO.

Hey Synth i'm going to do a update soon on my jacket with pics. I have recently been stuck in a couple rainstorms on a motorcycle and if anything it just adds a little bit more character to the jacket, the changes are really minor, just a slight darkening, but rain may have more of an affect on a relatively unconditioned or untreated version of the jacket. I would strongly suggest though if you are to take it, to use a weather proofing leather wax on the jacket like Obenauf's LP or something of that nature ( maybe a wax that won't change the colour much if you're so inclined). Feel free to PM me if you want any more details.

Is an MDR in black lamb a good one and only Toj? Seeing as how they'll be closing up shop soon I need ideas on my first and last Toj. I'm torn between the MDR and the A-2 Bomber....

Yes. The two jackets you mentioned are quite different though, so think about how you'd wear it and what you'd wear it with to make your decision.

I'd probably wear it with a denim+boots combo mainly. I imagine either would work fine, it's just a tough decision.

I chose the A-2 because it is more versatile.

Still a cutoff date of June 1, right?

I'm off hiking in the boondocks for a week starting this evening, and don't want to take a chance.

I was March 22, so only week 8, but was hopefully based on comments from Drew and Charly. Got myself all excited... oh well
