    This sign.

It is supposed to mean two lanes are merging into one. But what it shows are two lanes getting closer to one another. Pictogram fail.

It's about 20 degrees outside but in this office the AC kicks on to regulate temperature. My fingers are cold.

The entrance ramp where I get onto the Interstate is two lanes that merge into one. According to the sign, the right lane merges into the left lane. But in fact, it is the left lane that ends, forcing cars to merge right. And so all the drivers in the right lane change lanes to the left and then change back. (I do not do that because I know what's to come.)

On my flight from Cambodia to Korea there were these two guys traveling together. They both had on striped blue dress shirts, ties, and blue chinos. Both were wearing clothes too big for them, but what I thought topped off the odd look of these men is they were both wearing the exact same pair of really clunky orthodic shoes. I wonder if they are international orthodic shoe salesman?

They may have been international Mormon salesmen.

That's what this girl in my office said when I was talking about them. Apparently they only wear white shirts though.

The one guy had a very bizarre look. He was well into his fifties and extremely fair skin. His hair was dyed jet black. It look so ridiculous.

It is one thing to have orthodic shoes, but both guys and the exact same ones. They were quite a couple.

Only white shirts while doing the door to door crap- they're allowed to wear other shirts in daily life. If they were traveling together on Mormon business, they would have been in white shirts. Good odds of the shirts being short sleeved and made from a poly blend too.

I can't get into those all green screen movies like 300 or its sequel. I understand that green screen has basically taken over even mundane TV scenery, but its seamless in application.

but its hard for me to get into movies like 300. I'd rather have it all animated, like a pixar film, in comparison.

i'm hoping it kind of goes away... like in the 90's when Hong Kong action sequences started seeping into Hollywood action movies and you'd see Steven Segal and DMX start running up walls like a kung fu master. instead of Segal doing "segal" things like breaking elbows and gouging eyes out of his enemies.

perhaps if you prescribed yourself some "medication" before the movie? :p

which reminds me of that movie 'crouching tiger hidden dragon'... I don't get the major fawning over that movie when it was just released.

Cinematography was truly gorgeous in Crouching Tiger. Seems like every Chinese movie has the same basic plot, though- unrequited love, misery and death.
