My local TJ's is actually easy to park in. They bought out what used to be a big box store that closed down, so there's more than enough parking in its direct lot, let alone the entire strip mall. I feel blessed.

Now, this on the other hand... "Let's make it wide enough for one person to walk through with a cart." Yeah, that's a brilliant idea.

A rumor that is so widespread it became the plot-line of a really lame movie: "Dead Man on Campus".

This rumor never circulated where I went to school, because we all knew it was laughable BS. Your roommate committing suicide just meant that your double became a single.

Bad parking is part of TJ's allure.

This sounds familiar but I can't remember it. What was it about?

I was thinking earlier today about how unreal it must have been when humans learned the earth used to have dinosaurs on it, but you don't really hear anything about the public's reaction causing riots or other shit. It seems like humans should have stopped everything they were doing and spent the next five years just looking at each other with a "omg, wtf is this shit?" look on their faces.

Fanatical internet meme atheists are worse than both religious fundamentalists AND feminists in my book. There is nothing more annoying than someone telling people who believe in god that they are dumb and ignorant using the same lack of any evidence to prove their point.

I would agree with you if atheists were regularly accusing theists of violent crimes for saying that they believe in god.

The fact that there is no evidence or rational argument for any god is the point of atheism.

i don't get how weird it is to get stuff delivered from amazon by a carrier thats not, USPS, UPS, FedEx. Sometimes is the rare DHL order or an even more obscure delivery service.

A couple of times I ordered books that had a specific release date (like a popular best seller) and here in NYC you'll have some weird carrier named Lasership (I kid you not) deliver your package and its a dude in regular civilian clothing who gets out of a regular toyota camry knocks on your door and hands you the package and thats that.

I saw a couple of Lasership vehicles here in South FL. They use these dirty white vans with no windows...if they parked in front of my house to make a delivery I think I'd call the cops

Didn't you guys have Officer Friendly where you grew up? We were warned against this type of "package handling."

I've had Amazon deliveries show up at like 10pm sometimes. Very strange.
