That's pretty cool! Did he have interesting viewpoints to share with the people? I hope they have Stacey Blades on soon.

Also, are you a regular viewer of That Metal Show?

apparently I'm really good at disc golf (having played only 4 months). I've played with local pros and serious amateur tournament players and they all remark that I've got a good game. I get the "jesus you've only been playing since April?!" from random pro/am players a lot.

I just learned by watching all these great instructional videos on youtube and the backhand is basically a badminton backhand (you have to whip it and if you do it right it takes minimal effort to go far) the forehand is a baseball infield flip. its such a damn fun game to play, and I didn't want to go full disc golf nerd, but the shit is so easy to get into because everyone is so nice and the discs are fun to buy/collect. its almost like running, where the camaraderie is universal, plus its like pick up basketball where you just show up and can play random foursomes and have a blast with strangers.

I look so cool when I play my bass guitar with a pick I have the pinky of my right hand extended sort of like a classy person does when he holds an cocktail.

I did string up my Spector bass tonight and played it. I've been playing my Fender Jazz for a while, but I will not lie I strongly prefer the Spector.

My mothers dick head alcoholic ex died yesterday, so pleased that idiot is gone, absolutely hated him, as he ruined a large part of my childhood and kept pestering her for 7 years, after he moved out / we finally got him to move.

Only thing I'm sad about is that I didn't kick his ass, had the opportunity more than once.

So I was driving yesterday get a "transmission service required" message on my car. Get super pissed, check it out and all indications are that it is time for a new tranny. WTF just bought this (used) car in March. Then I remember it has a new transmission so it probably isn't that. Get in my car this AM, no transmission warning. Do a little more reading, find out it could have been one of the connections or something like that is very wet (it rained a LOT the past few days).

Link, what kind of amp do you use? I'm thinking of getting a Mesa Boogie 400+ with 3 8x10 cabs and 3 1x15 cabs for my apartment. Do you have that setup too?

The amp through which I play through is Ashdown CTM-300.

Unfortunately, the soundproofing is terrible in my condo building, to where I can't play the bass guitar at amplified volume without disrupting my neighbors.
