My friend did a pretty high-profile moot court and used the phrase "danger zone" in his argument [IMG]

Just got back from the doctor. Turns out I don't have the disease I was worried I had. (I didn't have an especially strong reason to think I had the disease, it is just that betimes my mind drifts into the ways of the hypochondriac.)

My heart rate was very high, though, on account of was nervous of the doctor's verdict.

The doctor often scolds me when I go. "Don't need to do annual visits at your age ain't make no sense." (He speaks with proper grammar)

Just got back from Whole Foods, where I bought 20 grahams of chaychoochow beans of which will prepare a meal more delicious than the meals what y'alls be eating.

Also, I bespoke a hempen suit (not at Whole Foods, but at a tailor.)

A zonkey was born in Mexico (zebra and donkey blend). I don't care what anyone says, the zonkey is an adorable animal I want to acquire one.

Would that be, like, inter-inter-species erotica?

We used to play a game, based on Steve Martin's Leap of Faith, where you picked a word or short phrase for someone else to say in an answer to a Prof's question and if he/she said it you'd owe em a beer. I was very successful. I also quoted Tango & Cash once in closing arguments of a rape trial.

I referenced Escape from the Planet of the Apes in one of my finals. (Exam was on 18th century english literature).

He will continue to say this until you skip three annual checks, and return in the fourth year with cataracts, nut cancer, and gout.

Not on the same level, but I quoted Men in Black in a first year English paper on whether the Bible and evolutionary theory were, of necessity, mutually exclusive entities.

Amazon is currently doing $75 off Kindle. I just got a Paperwhite for $44. I've wanted one forever, but could never rationalize spending $119 on one when I have a pretty big stack of print books in my collection waiting to be read. For less than $50, however, I couldn't say "no!"

This is probably a dumb question, but c'est la vie. I read Kindle books on my Mac, but one big disadvantage is that I don't have any page numbers. Since I'm an academic and need to cite passages to page numbers, this is a big pain in the ass. There must be some way to make the pages on Kindle correspond to the print book, right?

(Off topic post, but was reminded by MrG's post. Also, I am reading a Kindle book now and running into the problem.)
