IIRC, that DAC line was quoted in the last FB status of mine Ed ever saw.

Also, I've been playing "Long-Haired Country Boy" a lot on guitar recently. Very simple, but fun to play and sing.

I was worried that my beginning stages cold was going to prevent me from thinking clearly enough to write today. It has not and I am relieved.

I did receive numerous compliments on my tie today from people of female. Here's one thing I've learned over the years: when a lady compliments me of tie, it is almost always a bright colored tie. (The tie I"m wearing today is orange.)

These same ladies usually come up with the least imaginative names too.

"Ohhh! Hiiiii, Mr. GQ! Lookin' sharp."

I hope this compliment of tie leads to a byrrh summit and relations with a female.

My regular ties do not often get compliments (don't stand out, too traditional). I do, on occasion, get compliments on the shoes and the whole ensemble . What does get the favorable words from the people of female are my bowties. They often ask me to stand behind them and tie it on them.... and then show them how to tie the bowtie.

Up until 8:44, I had never even thought about the possibility of a "byrrh summit." Now I am intrigued by the possibility. (Just to be clear, I have thought about the possibility of relations with female before now. I am just talking about the byrrh summit part.)

I had a meeting with a local university, followed by a conference call. I decided to take the call while wandering around the campus arboretum, a beautiful parklike setting. As I was enjoying the beautiful day in the beautiful setting who should happen by but the women's track team, who were using the same trails for running practice, and who trooped by in all their sweaty, Lycra clad glory every five minutes or so. It all certainly made for a pleasant conference call.

Items that attract attention tend to draw compliments.

I have a neon pink t-shirt that says in big red letters "I AM THE MAN WHAT KICKS ASS YOU ARE A LOSER SHOULD PERISH STRAIGHTWAY." It doesn't attract compliments very often at all, I have to say. :(
