    Thanks Stitch. Hope so too.

I think I have a really good shot at it. Left the interview feeling better about my chances then any single one that I can remember having.

Turns out when your manager selects a team based on players' astrological signs it doesn't go well...

    What a fucking idiot.

He better not be on the team anymore. In fact, I hope he got sacked precisely for being such a fucking fool.

    Really, brah?

    It smells like you!

Scratch your taint and sniff your fingers if you want a whiff.

That's too bad. Could've been an epic SF meet-up.

Thanks. I've seen DBT about half-a-dozen times, but this will be my first full-length Isbell show (I saw a couple songs at an ATHFest a few years back). His music is, I think, stronger than theirs has been since the split, so I'm excited to see both his solo stuff and his DBT stuff they don't play live.

I keep forgetting it's not The Roxy anymore.

    This reminds me.

I saw a burly, stocky cawkasian man with an asian wife at the airport yesterday. She was probably in her mid-to-late 30s, but had aged very well. Quite pretty. Very much so in shape.

I honestly thought it was you and your wife for a second.

They kept him a lot longer than they should have. He was sacked last year after another disastrous campaign in European competition. He is, for sure, an idiot.

Drive-by really fell off after he left. Without sounding like too much of a cheese dick I always felt like he was the heart and soul that tied the talent together. No doubt that band was (and is) made up of extremely talented people, but they seem to lack a level of sincerity without him. At any rate I'm sorry to miss him tonight. Have a beer or 10 for me.

Speaking of ATL meet-ups we should actually look into that...
