Got some good news today. Looks like whatever happens, I will be a very busy and productive boy all of 2010. Also most likely get to party and relax and prepare the rest of this year.

I think I'm gonna go get some liquor and celebrate.

    Congrats. [IMG]

Just landed another huge case. This could be the one that really puts me on the map. I'm representing a plaintiff and damages will likely be in the seven figures, but it may be limited by the defendant's insurance coverage.

Congrats to all the other guys above (kunk and Flambeur) who also seem to be landing some nice gigs lately.

Don't really know where to put this--is there a "good, maybe overly generous customer service" thread? Warning: A tale of moo-esque activities follow.

I ordered a knit hat from Hartford York (hartfordyork.com). It was in their sale section. I ordered gray but received a hat in "primrose"--which I obviously wasn't going to wear. I e-mailed their customer service to ask if I could exchange it for the gray color I had ordered. Not really expecting a reply, I also offered the primrose hat to my wife--seemed like her style.

So a guy named Steve with "President and CEO" in his e-mail signature e-mails me back and says they've been out of the gray for months, but somehow my order had gone through and defaulted to primrose. He said I could return the hat for a full refund, or KEEP IT AND ACCEPT A 50% REFUND. I said I'd given the hat as a gift, but would accept the generous refund--and he copied me on the e-mail to his billing person to issue the refund.

Well my wife is wearing the hat and I essentially got it for 80% off. Thanks hartfordyork.com. Will shop again.

Sold one of my listings today; listed another place, and it looks like three closings next week will all happen. I'm thinking MaryJane calls me tonight. [IMG]
