Just planned an impromptu trip to visit a good buddy who just moved to Austin.

Gonna eat some amazing 'cue, drink some good beers, and hit on some fine, liberal Austin women.

The city of St. Louis (city of which I live in) is full of happiness tonight. Not because of Laurens' drawings (which are also something to be happy about), but because the Cards (Cardinals) are going to the WS (World Series) yet again.

yeah i got lucky and the 1st one was pretty, now they are showing scummy ones, still the ones that make the TV show are ok. my wife woke up and was like: WTF is this? I said, its the suicide girls! she went back to sleep.

i only recently found out who/what suicide girls were with the big Vice magazine article about them. I was addicted to the HBO Vice tv show, so i thought this was something more in depth, but it seems to be a hipster tattoo/pierced chick run of the mill playboy like show.

Not disgusting in a good way. I prefer my porn to be less about "empowerment" and "different ideas of beauty", and more about "masturbation".

Just something that is funny: we host an annual philosophy conference for undergraduate students at my university. (The students come from all over the US.) What's funny is when students find themselves having to pronounce a name or a concept that comes from a foreign language, but they don't speak that language. They just put on some accent that is generically foreign and say the word with complete confidence! One guy kept referring to "Sah-twa" (Sartre) and there were a good variety of attempts at Dasein (Dah-seen, Dessin, etc.). I don't think it's funny that they get it wrong; I think it's funny that they are wrong with such self assurance.

my wife has that talent. she'll say something that she has no idea about with such self assurance that the other person will start to hesitate, no matter how sure he is that he's right and she's wrong

Sartrois, if memory serves, was Sartre's 3rd bichon frise, being preceded by Sartun and Sartdeux.

Terrible jokes are very often the best jokes! I hope the Midnight in Paris reference was not lost.
