My body is a temple and must be treated as such.

I actually didn't have a single beer last night. 2 glasses of fernet plus the snifter, sake, wine, and a few cocktails.

I only drink beer when I absolutely have to in a drinking situation. They are just disgustingly filling and too many empty calories.

I have taken to only drinking beer with buffalo wings or on the boat, nothing else is practical. For everything else there is an appropriate wine or cocktail. Wine is pretty bad on the caloric efficiency front though.

What kind of beer is it you drink? (As I seem to recall you might be gluten free)
Cider is my choice and it's certainly the season.

I also had a bigass rack of ribs last night ftw!

I'm not gluten-free per se, but I stay away from 99% of carbs. The other 1% is alcohol carbs. I like many types of beers, rarely light lagers, more times hoppy IPA's, porters, stouts. I pretty much just don't like piss water, but even the piss water bloats me as does most anything with carbonation. I just don't enjoy the taste even to bother drinking it. Ciders suck.

I've been on a beer kick lately. Lagunitas IPA is so good.

Some nights I even drink a couple of Labatt's. :embar:

The whole craft beer thing has jumped the shark too. I had a female friend tell me how UH-MAYZING pumpkin ales are. Oy, I will stick to Yuengling in a can and a few German beers thank you very much.

I may become a cocksmoker, but I am afraid of the calories.
