I had a bad dream last night, to where I didn't sleep well and I have been sluggish today.

Here's what happened I was at the airport checking in my luggage but when I tried to pay the fee it turned out I only had $7.17 in the bank not enough to cover the charge. Then the people at the ticket counter talked to my bank sorted it all out. But then I realized oh shit I didn't even book a hotel what am I going to do when I get to Los Angeles? Then someone (can't remember who) booked a room for me. But then I couldn't find the terminal of which my flight was flying out of. And then I found it but realized I didn't know which hotel I was booked at would basically have to go to every hotel in Los Angeles and ask if I had a reservation there. Then I woke up.

You never need to have that dream again. If you come to LA Nickels would be happy to put you up.

On a related note, I hate it when I'm honing my sick abacus skillz at a coffee shop or a Pep Boys waiting lounge or something and some jagoff shows up with his stupid calculator

That is a straight up high quality post. The reference to Pep Boys just takes it to a other level.

Is jagoff short for jacking off?

Correct. This is why people often refer to you as a 'jagoff'--you're rather diminutive, even for auto-erotic purposes.

Had a nightmare that I slept through a final exam in college.

    Holy crap was that stressful.

True story (as in... actually true... not Lincanzestence true...) a local radio station in the A (ATL-town) played part of "Odyssey" from that great KISS album "The Elder." It lifted my spirits until I realized Limncanizzit wasn't with me to celebrate.

My gf had morning joe on this morning and they were talking about the new Harper lee book coming out and how it paints Atticus in a little different light...turned into how tkm may be taken out of schools English curriculums because the character may be racist...the media needs to go live under a rock.

I saw some high school aged girl in line getting food today. Between placing her order and paying, she managed to check her phone seven times. Literally stopped in the middle of placing her order to answer a text. Really can't go 30 whole seconds without updating your digital connection?

I tried to place a order for a bespoke briefcase in pink leather from a well known bespoke briefcase maker but I was rebuffed based on the paternalistic views of the proprietor ("you don't really want this proposed briefcase will regret it if I do make it.")

So you observed the entirely mundane actions of a high school-aged girl, transcribed your observations on an online forum ostensibly devoted to men's clothing, and she's the one displaying problematic behavior.
