I HATE when I go to a restaurant and the pot pies have only a topping. A pie should NEVER not have a side and bottom crust. My husband knows that I will complain to any restaurant manager if they serve me this crap and I WILL tell him he is stupid if he doesn't get it.

i think it's easier for restaurants to make top crust only. Too much time consuming to do the full from scratch (even if the filling is prepped ahead of time), and it gets too soggy/gross if made completely ahead of time.

evern now and then the bosses take us out to lunch at Sarabeth, and because the first two times we went I ordered the chicken pot pie, it means I'm pretty much required to order it each time. "let me guess what Gome is having ... pot pie!" Yep, yep. It's top crust only, but still very good.

The Cleveland Indians darkened the navy in their alternate jerseys. Thing about it is, this change is NOT reflected in the current MLB Style Guide. They just darkened the shade of navy they was using without even going through proper channels. If you think there's a lot of people in the uniform community be pissed about this, then you're right.

I don't have any friends, and my other relatives are worse than my parents.

My mother called me not long ago to tell me she saw a program on TV about a food store called "Whole Foods" and if I have ever heard of it.

Don't get me wrong I love my parents, but I also love my weekends to myself. It's just work, parents, work again. I'd rather give up the weekend for work honestly, at least I could enjoy some nice wine in the evening. My parents somewhat shun alcohol.

Actually it is cheaper than a lot of Brooklyn specialty food stores.

I gave a list of food for my mother to have for me so when I get there later tonight I can make myself a salad. She told me I would be a fool to want to make a salad for myself after such a long train ride and to just get pizza on the way home. And I wonder why I grew up fat...

Well compared to my current subway ride home, yes actually. It will take 90 minutes to get to the station in New Jersey I have to go to and then another 20 minute drive to get to my parent's house.

Like you and many others have done in the past? You're all a bunch of creeps. Chances are you've seen and rode the train with my old boss who goes back to Princeton every day, he leaves at like 4pm though because he's a lazy bastard.
