Anastrophe, but it's usually done for a reason in verse.

That's slightly different. Anastrophe seems to just be how Yoda, and the early Beatles would talk.

But things like "School of Making Thinking", "Make Playing" are kind of bizarre, but I think there is a word for it. There are these kinds of phrases we hear more often though such as "Making fun" (of somebody or something).

As I mentioned in a post from past time, I used watch wrestling as a youngster, and I got a lot of my understanding of life skills from paying attention to their ways. Well wouldn't you know it, one of the things I learned was how you do an interview. More specifically, I learned that whenever you are being interviewed, you should flex your pectoral muscles while you are listening to the question. Well yesterday I did that while I was being interviewed by the news media, and the reporter got scared that I was preparing to attack and then he fled the scene. So I probably won't be in the newspaper.

I just realized I have been singing along to a totally classic song wrong my entire life without once stopping to question it.

The lyric I have been singing wrong is THE TITLE OF THE FUCKING SONG.

I feel like such a dumb piece of shit right now, it's amazing how embarrassed and humbled I am.

Thanks all. His younger brother died only a month or so ago, and two weeks ago his son suddenly died. I don't know that he ever knew about his son as he was in and out of a coma. Really sad situation for his family.

    Without further ado:

I can see you, your brown skin shining in the sun
You got your hair combed back and your sunglasses on, baby
I can tell you, my love for you will still be strong
Every day like poison, summer has gone.

I don't think I ever really thought about the name. I happened across it on satellite radio yesterday and looked down at the title at about the same time as the chorus and suddenly it clicked.

Do you typically listen to the kinds of radio stations that would play "Poison Summer?" I don't think I've ever listened to such a station as that. I imagine the DJs would talk like the people on NPR.
